After working for large corporations and small design firms, we decided that we would have more flexibility building a micro business that would give us freedom to execute projects with an uncompromised level of quality and also give us space to create software which we felt was important. Triple Smart consists of Lucas Caro (Software and Engineering Development) and Jenny Carden (Project Management), Mark Cimino (Consulting and Business Development) and Damian Linossi (Graphic Design and Animation).
Jenny Carden: Jenny received a bachelor of science from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She worked in the film business in Los Angeles for 6 years before managing the national staff of the web-streaming department at Akamai Technologies in San Francisco where she developed interactive web streaming applications and managed international streaming for clients such as MTV Networks and Fox Sports. She later worked for On24 in New York City where she project managed technical teams and production studios in interactive web broadcasting for clients such as Lenovo, Unisys and Credit Suisse. She moved to Córdoba, Argentina in 2005 to pursue her independent interests in software development.
Lucas Caro: Lucas attended the Belgrano School of Economics before beginning his degree program in Computer Science at the University of Córdoba in the world-renowned FaMAF Faculdad of Math, Astronomy, and Physics. He worked for various departments in the University as a Linux system administrator in charge of installing and maintaining numerous clusters for the scientific research labs. He worked for San Diego-based Santex as a programmer where he developed applications in PHP and Javascript. From there, he worked for SVSouth, a web development company based in Phoenix, Arizona, on CMS configurations and Drupal custom PHP modules. He also works doing freelance programming for companies such as the Municipality of Córdoba, Softcode, Etnika Studio, CBA Studio, and Comercial Alejandro. He recently developed a Content Management Application in Java for the Fundacion Dialogos and Spain-based, Digital Media Communications.
Mark Cimino: Mark worked as managing editor, sales manager, and advertising coordinator for a free independent newspaper (Washington Spark: circulation 25,000). He has written ad copy, developed advertising concepts and ad campaigns for small businesses as well as not-for-profits. Prior to that he has written grants for the DC Independent Media Center and has and developed fundraising plans for other not-for-profit or grass roots organizations. He is currently developing an online fundraising tool with the Triple Smart team soon to be out this spring. Mark has also worked in many capacities in film & video, starting at Arlington Independent Media (writing, camera, editing, directing) and working at Image Television and a nonlinear video editor editing the “Wild Minutes” nature spots and half-hours specials on wildlife conservation.
